Among those assisting in the land and waterway cleanup at Glen Oaks Park in Clearwater on August 29 are, from left, Daniel Hensel, Jim Chapin, Bill Sanders, Jacob Corlett and Sarah Josuns. Josuns, environmental specialist with the City of Clearwater's Engineering Department, was coordinator of the event, which was a joint effort of the City of Clearwater and Keep Pinellas Beautiful. Volunteers of all ages turned out for the event.
 Cici and Frank Macauley take to the water in a canoe to help with the cleanup efforts at Glen Oaks Park in Clearwater on August 29. The largest item they found that day was a bicycle. Buckets, fishing poles and a number of balls were also retrieved from the lake.
