
Clearwater Firefighters Remember Lives Lost in the September 11th Terrorist AttacksCLEARWATER - In remembrance of the September 11th terrorist attacks Clearwater Fire & Rescue will pause for a moment of silence at all Clearwater stations. The department will honor the 343 FDNY firefighters, as well as multiple public safety employees and civilians who lost their lives eight years ago.
All city flags will be flown at half-staff to remember those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks. Clearwater city management staff and council members will be present at each of Clearwater's fire stations for the remembrance. Citizens are also invited to attend at their neighborhood fire station.
