Event Raises Funds for School Supplies

A back-to-school fund-raising expo was held on August 29 to bring in monies for school supplies for Dunedin Elementary School. Marguerite Allison, pictured above, front row, third from left, was coordinator of the event which was held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Marguerite's Cafe & Catering. Allison is pictured with some of the local merchants who participated in the fund-raiser. Major sponsors were Verizon and Coca Cola. Other sponsors included the Pinellas Executive Association, Janie Beane Florist, Big Frog, All Travel Design, Romantique Jewelers and Art from the Heart.
