RCS Participates in County-Wide Effort to Help Families of Domestic ViolenceCLEARWATER - On Tuesday, September 8, RCS President/CEO, Duggan Cooley will participate with other child welfare leaders in signing an historic agreement to help families of domestic violence and improve the coordination between partner agencies. The event will take place at the JWB Children's Services Council of Pinellas County (JWB), 14155 58th Street North, Clearwater, FL, Room 191. The event begins at 11 a.m. A similar agreement has existed for a number of years and expired earlier in 2009. The original partner agencies are convening once again to express their mutual concern about domestic violence, and to work together in solidarity to support the victims of such a horrendous crime. Introductory remarks will be offered by Domestic Violence Task Force Chair, Wendy Loomas, of the Pinellas County Health Department.
