Highland Recreation Complex Hosts Just Us Girls and Teens in MotionLARGO - The Highland Recreation Complex, 400 Highland Ave., invites all girls with special needs to come and socialize with friends while learning about health and nutrition, creating crafts and much more. Just Us Girls is held on the following Saturdays from 6-8 p.m.: Sept. 19 - Scrapbooking, Oct. 17 - Cooking Fun and a Movie, and Nov. 14 - Karaoke and Pajama Party. Cost per program is $15 for residents, $18.75 for non-residents and $21.75 for guests. Ages 10-22 are welcome to attend. Teens in Motion is another great opportunity for teens and young adults with special needs to join friends for a night full of music and dancing. Dances are open to ages 13-22 and are held on Saturday, Oct. 3 and Dec. 5 from 7-9 p.m. at the Highland Recreation Complex. Cost is $2 per participant.
