A Million for One - You Can Win It!ARIA, the Arthritis Research Institute of America, announced its inaugural Hole-In-One-Shoot-Out, to be held Saturday, Oct 3rd. This unique golfing opportunity is sure to be the seasons most entertaining and rewarding golf challenge. The event will be held at the Countryway Golf Course, one of Tampa Bay's finest executive golf courses. This 61 par golf course has beautiful undulating greens, many water hazards, immaculate fairways and five holes over 300 yards, surely enough to challenge every golfer. For this special sporting event, numerous prizes are being offered. For starters, $25,000 is your reward for a hole-in-one on a 160-yard hole. There are 18 total hole-in-one opportunities, offering 18 prizes, including flat screen TVs, airline tickets, golf clubs and cash. To accommodate the 18 hole-in-one opportunities, a special tee-off position will be marked, shortening the longer holes to no more than 190 yards. In addition, there will be 18 closest to the pin prizes. To top it off, registered golfers can sign up for the One Person/One Shot/One Million Dollar Shoot Out. Purchase a $10 Drawing by Chance ticket to participate. One lucky golfer will be chosen to at random to take one shot at a 190 yard hole-in-one, for the grand prize of a one million dollar annuity. Amateurs only are eligible for the shoot out. This lucky golfer will be chosen in advance and the shoot out is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Registration and a putting contest will be from 3 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. The million dollar hole-in-one shot out begins at 4 p.m. All of the proceeds from this spectacular event will benefit ARIA.
