Island Estates Woman's Home Bridge to BeginTo All Members - A reminder that play will begin October through the month of May. The designated day of play is the 2nd Thursday of each month. Members shall be receiving schedules and other information soon. Congratulations again to all who came in lst or 2nd for each month and to Joy Kamins and Ilene Cole for the seasonal high of 23860 points and to 2nd place winners Susan Thompson and Maxene Smith with 22740 points. Following a schedule, the designated Host Team calls the scheduled opposing team to arrange the time of play. Rubber Bridge (24 hands) is played, and scores are called in. At the end of the season, prizes for monthly highs, slams bid and made, and the seasonal 1st & 2nd place teams are awarded at a luncheon in May. Have no partner - perhaps one may be suggested.
