TradeWinds Island Grand Unleashes Free Room Night Certificates for Tampa Bay Dog Adoptions in OctoberIn celebration of National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month in October, the TradeWinds is providing complimentary fall room night certificates* to those who adopt a dog from SPCA Tampa Bay or Humane Society of Tampa Bay. To help local shelters reward those who adopt "man's best friend", the TradeWinds will provide 400 certificates per shelter to be given away with the adoption of any kind of dog in October. SPCA Tampa Bay, located in Largo, works tirelessly to protect and shelter sick, injured, homeless and unwanted animals and to find loving new homes for homeless animals. Located in Tampa, Humane Society of Tampa Bay is dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need. Once the furry friend adoption is complete, the new family unit is invited to head out to the TradeWinds to enjoy some quality bonding time and to enjoy the TradeWinds Island Grand's pet-friendly suites and amenities. The Pet Play Zone features doggie drinking fountains, doggie rinse and drying station with towels, fire hydrants, and more. A special dog walk area has also been designated, set along the property's meandering waterways and beachfront dunes, and even skirts by a hammock for some snooze time for the guest and his/her pooch. A Doggie Accessory Center stocked with dishes, leashes, toys and towels for use during the four-legged friend's stay, is accessible for guests using their room key. And for some extra-special service, Fido can order from the pet-only room service menu, including Mutt Meatloaf and Fido Fajitas. TradeWinds complimentary fall room night certificates will be available at the SPCA Tampa Bay and Humane Society of Tampa Bay starting Oct.1, 2009. The certificates will be available to the first 400 dog adoptions on a first-come, first-served basis.
