Business and Professional Women to Meet

The Pinellas County School Board will be the topic during the Business and Professional Women (BPW) meeting on Thursday, October 1 in St. Petersburg. Please check the website or call the phone number listed below for the location. Peggy O'Shea, Chairperson of the School Board, will be the speaker. Active in Pinellas County public schools for many years, most recently O'Shea was a member of the Choice Reform Technology Task Force. She also served on several district task forces and school advisory councils.

Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. and the meeting begins at noon. Meetings are open to the public but reservations (see below) must be made by the Tuesday prior to the meeting. Cost: $16 for members and $21 for visitors.

BPW St. Pete Pinellas is the local chapter of Business and Professional Women/USA. Founded in 1919, the organization is multigenerational and nonpartisan. The local organization's mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information.
