American Red Cross Babysitting Class Offered at Highland RecreationLARGO - The Highland Recreation Complex, 400 Highland Ave., is offering Babysitting 101, a Red Cross certified babysitting class for 11-15 year olds. This class teaches diapering, feeding, first aid, rescue breathing and proper babysitting procedures. Participants must attend all three classes to receive the Red Cross Certificate of Completion. Classes are from 5-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 13 and 20. Cost is $35 for residents and $43.75 for non-residents. An additional fee of $15 is required for the course book.
