
Local Order Sons of Italy Chapter Celebrates Columbus DayCLEARWATER - The Daughters of Italy Lodge #2825 will be hosting their annual Luncheon/Musicale on Saturday, October 10, at East Lake Woodlands Country Club (1055 East Lake Woodlands Pkwy, Oldsmar). The event, open to the public, will feature a sit-down luncheon with performances by the Frank Rey Showdancers, youngsters performing Italian folk dances. One of the special guests will be the student winner of the Christopher Columbus Essay Contest that is open to all Pinellas County Middle School students who submit their essay "Why Should We Celebrate Columbus Day?" The cost is $25 per person; business attire please.
