Be Fantastical! Be Outrageous! Be Ready! for the Fish Head BallIt'll be a night of fantasy, eye-popping costumes, incredible eats from local restaurants and the works at The Pier Aquarium's 16th annual Fish Head Ball, this year themed "Fanta-SEA Fish Fest." The aquarium will celebrate its 20th birthday and a YEAR-ful of fish after dark at the fantasy ball with a Surf-n-Turf food tasting, music by the ever-popular Surfin' Raccoons, silent and live auctions, a 50/50 Chance and other surprises. The event, a fundraiser for the aquarium's education programs, will take place at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront on Saturday, Oct. 3. A portion of the proceeds will go toward a summer camp offered in partnership with Blossom Montessori School for the Deaf in Clearwater. Advance tickets are $60 each; at the door, tickets are $65.
