Largo Mayor Patricia Gerard (at back at podium) welcomes attendees to the city's annual Military Family Appreciation Day at Largo Central Park on September 26 as members of the Tampa Bay Pipes and Drums stand by. The free event for families of servicemen, active and retired, featured exhibits, demonstrations, speakers and live entertainment along with games, train rides and a rock climbing wall for the younger set.
