Clearwater Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America Donates FlagThe Clearwater Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America held their September luncheon and had as speaker, John Piazza, Sr., who is owner of the Largo Military Museum. An American flag was presented to Piazza to exhibit in his museum. This flag is a forty-eight star flag and was donated by Mrs. Grace Williams, whose husband, the late Corporal Vernon "Bud" Williams served his country during World War II. This flag flew over Iwo Jima during Corporal Williams' tour of duty on Iwo Jima.
