Adoption Fees Waived for Adult Cats During the SPCA Tampa Bay's October Wacky Wednesdays and Freaky Fridays!TAMPA BAY - For families and individuals who have been considering adopting a cat and just haven't found the time, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Tampa Bay, has a few enticing promotions to help them find their perfect furry feline. During the month of October, adult cats (1 year or older) will have their adoption fee waived on WackyWednesdays (7th, 14th, 21st and 28th) and Freaky Fridays (9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th). Also during October, any person or family who adopts an adult cat (1 year or older) will have their name placed into a drawing to a win a 3 day, 2 night beach stay at the Tradewinds Grand Island Resort on St Pete Beach. On November 1, 2009, the winner's name will be drawn at the shelter. Cat adopters do not need to be present to win. Potential pet parents can view adoptable cats and kittens on the SPCA Tampa Bay website,www.spcatampabay.org as well as adoption specials for dogs and pocket pets. The SPCA Tampa Bay's Pet Boutique also offers a 15% off adoption day special on selected merchandise so the new pet parent has all necessary supplies to make their new pet feel welcome in their new home.
