Taking in some of the activities for participants in the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk 2009 at Largo Central Park on October 10 are (from left) Zander and Zemis Rosenbaum with mom Amber, Thomas Miller with mom Ann, Donna Livingston (the children's grandmother) and Isabella Miller (Ann's daughter). This is the third year the group of family members has taken part in the walk on behalf of a relative with Down Syndrome, Annabelle Livingston 5, who lives in Nebraska. They were among the some 1500 walkers who turned out for this year's event, which also featured clowns, face painting, arts and crafts, carnival rides, inflatable bounce houses and musical entertainment. Shirley Lawyer was coordinator.
 Among the some 120 persons serving as volunteers at the recent Down Syndrome Buddy Walk 2009 at Largo Central Park are, from left, Shawn Hannon, Jordan Nolan, Kelsey List, Victor Cappello, Ado Campara and John Bellack. All are students at Clearwater Central Catholic High School.
