Fund Raiser Held for Gulfcoast Oncology FoundationThe Clearwater Yacht Club recently held a Fund Raiser for the Gulfcoast Oncology Foundation. The Dock Party and Silent Auction were co-sponsored by the "Snow Flakes", a Cancer Support Group which meets on Thursdays, at 4 p.m. in the Tampa Bay Oncology Center. The other co-sponsor was the Clearwater Yacht Club "Landcruisers," a CYC R.V.Group. The event was very successful, raising a good deal of money which will benefit some needy cancer patients in the area, who find themselves in a financial crisis. The chairman was Pat Dowling, and her committee, which included the following members: Donna Musto, Millie Diaz, Jane Morse Swett, Sam Cantrell, Rochelle Heenan, Nancy Rowe, Brenda Hanson, Peggy Kechler, and Tom Brusini. club manager.
