Shelling in Puerto Rico Is Program for November Shell Club Meeting

CLEARWATER -The Suncoast Conchologists Seashell Club will hear Peggy Williams of Tallavast, FL, describe her experiences shelling in Puerto Rico at their November 10th meeting (a week later than normal due to elections). Her talk will include shelling in the San Juan area and La Parguera on the southwest coast of the island, as well as a visit to the El Yunque Rain Forest.

Williams, a member of the Sarasota Shell Club, has exhibited and judged in many shell shows over the years. He is a published author and has been a professional tour guide for the past 30 years, including shelling tours to many locales around the world.

The club meets at 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity Presbyterian Church located at the corner of Hercules and Rainbow Drive in Clearwater. The meetings are open to the general public. For more information call (727) 531-0897 or (727) 595-3575.
