Clearwater, Countryside Swim Teams Participate in District Meet

Members of the Clearwater High School swim team pose for a photo on October 31 at the Long Center, where they were participating in the Class 3A, District 5 high school swim meet. Seated, front, left to right, are Christian Shackton, Mia Castagna and Alex Holtz. At back, left to right, are Neil O'Donoghue, Kasey Braden, Connor Myers, Sam Howard, Courtney O'Donoghue and Tucker Smith. Palm Harbor University High School finished in first place, taking home its ninth straight boys title and third straight girls title. The Clearwater girls came in fourth. The boys took fifth place.

They are (front row l-r) Emily Hall, Gary Lush, (second row l-r) Lexy Lahm, Angelica Compton, Kennedy Krug, Marina Buttrick, (third row l-r) Michael Piatt, Mate Fabian, John Kelly and Hunter Krug. The Cougar boys' team scores gave them second place. The girls came in third.
