Volunteers Extend A Helping Hand
Volunteers help a camper after a morning canoe ride during the Annual Camp Living Springs, held Oct. 16-18. Each year adult cancer patients are invited to a weekend of fun and relaxation at the Day Spring Episcopal Conference Center in Ellenton. The event is free and sponsored by the Morton Plant Caring Partners, the volunteer group for Morton Plant Hospital and Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey. This year 61 campers and 36 volunteers enjoyed songs by the campfire, line dancing, nature walks, fishing and massages.
