IEYC Holiday Boat Parade Date AnnouncedThe Memorial Holiday Boat Parade sponsored by the Island Estates Yacht Club will be held on Saturday, December 12, with a rain date of December 13th at 6:30 p.m. This will be the 35th annual IEYC lighted- boat parade, one of the largest and most popular marine events in the Clearwater area. It's not to be missed. This beautifully illuminated nautical event celebrates the spirit of the holidays and is the club's memorial tribute for cherished members who have passed. This year the club celebrates and honors the lives of Jack Heckert, Linda Struble, and John Murray. The decorated boats will assemble at 6:00 p.m. in Mandalay Channel located between Island Estates and Clearwater Beach. At 6:30 p.m. The boats will set sail and parade through many of the Island Estates' canals. They will travel toward Coachman Park arriving at 8:00 p.m., proceeding under the Memorial Causeway Bridge, turning into the Clearwater Marina Channel and finally navigating to the Clearwater Yacht Club judging stand. Thanks to the donations of many sponsors there will be prizes awarded to the best decorated boats and NO ENTRY FEE.
