
Clearwater Harbor Realty and the "Jolley Trolley" to Collect Donations for HomelessCLEARWATER - On Friday, November 27th, at 7:30 a.m., Clearwater Harbor Realty, 501 South Fort Harrison Ave., downtown Clearwater, will be delivering red bags to homes on Island Estates to collect new, unwrapped toys and monetary donations for homeless children and families at a local homeless shelter, Homeless Emergency Project (HEP), 1120 N. Betty Lane, Clearwater. Santa Claus and friends will board the "Jolley Trolley" loaded with gift bags full of valuable coupons from local Clearwater businesses to leave with residents while collecting the donations. Homeless Emergency Project (HEP) is a registered 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. Their mission is to provide homeless and very low-income individuals and families with housing, food, clothing, and support services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. As part of their mission to help the homeless, HEP operates a 300-bed facility where emergency and transitional housing is provided for the temporarily homeless, as well as, permanent supportive housing for mentally disabled individuals and families. In addition, anyone can drop off donations at Clearwater Harbor Realty's downtown Clearwater location or directly at HEP.
