2010 Scholarship Program AnnouncedSince 1985, the Miniature Art Society of Florida has awarded more than eighty scholarships to Pinellas county high school seniors who wish to continue their visual arts education. This year MASF is offering up to three scholarships for $1,500 each. MASF Visual Art Scholarship application form may be found at the MASF web site, or by contacting the Scholarship Committee Chair. Scholarship applications will be accepted until Friday, February 26th, 2010; applicant interviews will be scheduled on Saturday, March 13th, 2010. The primary purpose of MASF scholarships is to encourage aspiring young artists to pursue an art career, whatever their creative goals may be. MASF hopes that scholarship recipients will be motivated to create Miniature Art, and that aficionados from around the world will be able to enjoy those creations in an MASF annual show, sometime in the future.
