Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition Elects 2010 Officers

The Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition (CNC) held its last meeting of 2009 at the Greek Town Grille, 1230 Cleveland Street, Clearwater, on December 7. Michael Delk, Planning and Development Director for the City of Clearwater presented a brief overview about departmental and personnel changes that recently took place. He also said that he is looking forward to working with the CNC to see if changes and revisions are needed to the city's codebook. The codebook is a collection of city codes that are organized as an easy to use reference for the citizens of Clearwater.

After Delk's presentation members of the CNC were presented with a slate of officer candidates for the 2010 term. The 2010 officers elected are: Shelley Kuroghlian, president (Spring Lake Homeowners Association); JoAnna Siskin, vice-president, (Skycrest Neighbors); Carl Schrader, Secretary (Brookhill Neighborhood Association); Doug Williams, Treasurer (Northwood West). The officers will begin their term on January 4, 2010.

The Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition (CNC) was formed in 1970 and is composed of neighborhood, civic, and homeowner associations in Clearwater. The CNC serves to address City of Clearwater, Pinellas County, and State of Florida issues that impact the concerns of the associations represented by the CNC. The CNC holds monthly meetings, which are open to the public.
