Clearwater Horseshoe Club Collected Can Tabs for Children's ResearchThe Clearwater Horseshoe Club and it's 80 plus members had set up a goal to collect aluminum can tabs over the last season. The collection of those tabs was to be donated to an organization that had previously contributed to worthy causes. Chuck Johnston, president and spokesman for the Clearwater Club, learned that Ladies V.F.W. Club Post 2473 had made such contributions to local charities for many years. The tabs were contributed to the organization for their disposition. The collection of these tabs was due to the efforts of Archie Bunting, a member of the Clearwater Club.
