Medicare Advantage Cuts for FloridaE-mail sent to Senator NelsonOnce again I'm writing to voice my disappointment with your actions on this preposterous Healthcare Bill passage. As you choose not to answer any of my e-mails, letters or faxes, I do not expect an answer to this either; however, I want you to know that I'm sending this to every Florida friend in my e-mail address book and to every major newspaper in the State. I understand that part of your deal with Harry Reid was that three (3) counties in Florida will be exempt from any Medicare Advantage cuts, leaving the other 63 counties to make up for them. I want to know which three (3) counties these are. I have an idea and would venture to say they are Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. Please confirm or deny these, or deny that this deal was made. We, the taxpayers in Florida have to right to know why you think you have the right to exempt certain counties from reforms, taxes, exemptions, and to make special behind the scene deals. You work for us, your constituents, not the Democratic Party or President Obama. I truly hope you do not plan to run again, however, the damage has already been done to the State of Florida by your actions. - Marie T. Alderman
