Four Candidates Qualify for March Election in Belleair BeachThe following candidates: incumbents David M. Dumville Jr. and Mitch Krach; new-comers J. Clarke McNeace and Leslie Ford Notaro, qualified as of noon, December 18, 2009, for the three councilmember positions for the City of Belleair Beach, March 9th, municipal election. It is a two-year term, March 2010 through March 2012. At the Monday, November 2, 2009, City Council Meeting, Ordinance 09-09 was unanimously approved on Second and Final Reading. The referendum question to be voted on is whether the Charter shall be amended and adopted to remove the specific date the city manager shall submit the annual budget to the city council, as provided for in Ordinance 09-09.
