Volunteers Needed to Bottle Feed Puppies

Last week, Angel Dog Rescue in Georgetown, Georgia received five straight days of rain and the flooding began. This week, they received three more days of rain and the flooding continued.

Unfortunately, three weeks ago the puppies began flooding the facility and there has been no let-up. They have asked the Suncoast Animal League to assist them with 52 mix-breed puppies. Thirty-nine of the pups, ranging from one week to three weeks old, need to be bottle-fed.

The rescue team left Tuesday December 22nd and returned Wednesday December 23rd.

Although many calls have been received from foster homes, additional volunteers are still needed that have experience working with puppy bottle babies. Please contact the Suncoast Animal League office for more information at 727-786-1330.
