Train Your Pooch at Highland's Dog Obedience ClassesLARGO - Did your family get a new puppy for the holidays or is your dog giving you problems? Steve Pica and the City of Largo are offering two dog obedience classes starting in January. Puppy Palooza offers off-leash training to teach puppies (8-16 weeks) to become well socialized and friendly pets. This four-week class starts Monday, January 25. Cost is $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Dog Obedience (for dogs 4 months and older) teaches basic manners such as sit, down, stay and walking. This six-week course begins Thursday, January 14. Cost is $60 for residents and $75 for non-residents. Both classes are held at the Highland Recreation Complex, located at 400 Highland Avenue.
