
Call to Students: Enter the 2010 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay ContestDUNEDIN - Students who are inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King., Jr., are invited to enter the 2010 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Essay Contest. The contest is open to all Elementary, Middle and High School students in Dunedin. The Essay Theme is Youth Leadership: The Key to Advancing the Dream. Using the example of Dr. King's legacy and leadership, students are encouraged to write about what contributions they as young leaders can make in promoting a greater realization of the DREAM. Essays should not exceed five pages and must be submitted to their teacher prior to January 12, 2010. One essay will be selected from each school by school personnel. The selected student essayists are invited to read their essays at the Annual Martin Luther King., Jr. Unity Breakfast, on Saturday, January 16, 2010, at 8:30 a.m. at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center located at 550 Laura Lane.
