Modelers Bring Cheer
Members of the Bay Area Electric Boaters (BAEB) delivered the club's Christmas donation, a brand-new HD television to the Pediatric ward of the Sabal Palms Rehabilitation Center. Sabal Palms takes care of severely handicapped children from infancy through their teen years when they become eligible for adult nursing home care. BAEB has been raising funds for the children's gifts by holding annual auctions in the fall. Shown in the picture with Brenda Legge, unit manager of Sabal Palms are: Richard Longnecker (BAEB news editor), Bill Markus (club founder), Bob Allison (commodore) and George Spencer.
