Volunteers Needed to Help Host USF Series Softball TournamentsCLEARWATER - In February and March, the City of Clearwater will welcome college athletes, coaches, and spectators to Eddie C. Moore Complex for the 2010 USF Series hosted by USF Softball. Around 500 volunteers will be needed to help host approximately 75 colleges from around the nation to play in more than 200 games during three different tournaments on four different weekends. The tournaments will take place Feb. 12 - 14, March 5 - 7, March 12 - 14, and March 19 - 21. Volunteer opportunities will include parking, gates, scoreboard, umpire transport, volunteer tent and field monitor. All tournaments will be played at the Eddie C.
