Don't Miss the Boats!
A 1/48th scale replica of the Mt. Washington lake steamer handcrafted by George Spencer Clearwater After Five will launch their 2010 dinner on Thursday, January 21st with scale-model boats presented by the Bay Area Electric Boaters (BAEB). Bill Markus, who founded BAEB in 1989, will talk about the art of boat building. Markus and some fellow modelers will show their prize-winning radio-controlled model boats. Patrick Jotham is the inspirational speaker. In a touching story, Jotham will relate how a family crisis sparked his quest in this search for God's grace and love. Everyone is invited to the dinner which will be held at Hampton Inn located at 100 East Bay Drive in Largo at 6:00 p.m. The cost or the dinner and program is $8 inclusive.
