Symposium for Homebuyers and Homeowners Offered

ST. PETERSBURG - The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals, in conjunction with representatives from the Department of HUD and the Tampa Bay Regional Office of the CDC, are offering an educational seminar to current and prospective homeowners on Thursday, January 28, at the St. Petersburg Public Library at 3745 9th Ave. North, St. Petersburg, (727-893-7724) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This free seminar includes four keynote speakers in 15-minute intervals covering such topics as:

  • "Protecting Yourself from Foreclosure" (HUD)
  • "Down Payment Assistance-How to Qualify?" (Tampa Bay CDC)
  • "How to Save Money on Your Homeowner's Insurance/Wind Mitigation" (Bobbi Hullstrung: Hyde Park Insurance/FAMP)
  • "How to Qualify and Receive a Tax Credit up to $8,000 for Eligible Home Buyers" (Jeannie O'Grady: Creative Mortgage Lenders/FAMP)

This informative and content-filled event is sure to enlighten and assist all bay area homeowners as well as those that may be considering purchasing a home in the coming months.
