The Clearwater Public Library System is Collecting Gently Used Formal Gowns CLEARWATER - The Clearwater Public Library System is asking for donations of gently used formal gowns in order to host a program in the spring that will provide girls in need with a gown for this year's prom. Collection will begin Jan. 11 and end March 15. Donation guidelines are as follows: New or gently used prom gowns, formal gowns, and party dresses in all sizes, colors and styles Gloves Wraps/Shawls Dress shoes and special occasion purses Formal jewelry and hair accessories Un-opened hosiery Dresses should be dry cleaned and on hangers. All donations are final and become the property of City of Clearwater. Donations can be dropped off at any Clearwater Library branch during operating hours.
