
Resident Needed To Serve On Audit CommitteeCLEARWATER - The City of Clearwater is seeking applicants to serve as the citizen representative on the city's Audit Committee. The Audit Committee will be responsible for evaluating responses to External Auditor Requests for Proposals and recommending a firm to the City Council every five years. The Committee will review issues in regard to the audit process. It is preferred the candidates for appointment have basic understanding of governmental accounting and reporting and have a CPA certification. Candidates must be residents of the City of Clearwater. The City Council will make the appointments to the Audit Committee at its March 18th meeting. Other members of the committee will be city staff with some financial expertise and a Council member.
