Belleair Recreation Department Announces Final Registration For BasketballThe Belleair Recreation Department is registering now for our Spring Basketball League, which is sponsored by the Laser Spine Institute. Practices will start on March 8th. The cost is $75.00 for members and $90.00 for non-members. The league is for ages 5 through 17, and all teams are co-ed. The youngest age group is instructional with coaches on the floor officiating and teaching during the games, while the rest of the age groups are competitive recreational leagues, complete with playoff and championship games. In addition, there will be All-Star teams and games. There are eight regular season games and two playoff games. Game days are Saturday afternoons.
