Belleair Garden Club's Program Is A Success

Michael Pollen's "Orchids" presentation was a huge success! Several people brought in their orchids for Michael to analyze. He taught everyone how to re-pot orchids properly, how to spot problems, and explained the importance of lighting and fertilizing. Michael was an amazing speaker and will be back again next year. Of Michael's program, 2nd V. President Barb Chapman stated, "Every year the crowd gets bigger and bigger". Michael always brings lots of beautiful orchids from his St. Petersburg greenhouses for the group to purchase. If you like orchids don't miss our program on "Hunting Wild Orchids in the Everglades" on March 3rd at 1:00 p.m. This program will be held at the Belleair Garden Club, 903 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Belleair.
