
Caladesi Chapter DAR Schedules Next Meeting
Professor Roger Block is shown with objects gathered around the United States concerning Native Americans Caladesi Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet on Monday, February 15, 12:30 p.m. at Friendship Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 421 Main Street, Dunedin. Local attorney Eric Houghton will present the program, "Presidential Potpourri". Roger Block, a professor at Eckerd College and St. Petersburg College, (who is pictured above), spoke at the January meeting. Professor Block discussed the history and culture of Native Americans. Any woman age 18 or older that can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible to become a member and is invited to attend the meeting. Call (727) 733-5383.
