
Area Students Named To Dean's List At Florida Institute Of TechnologyMELBOURNE - The following students from Florida Institute of Technology were named to the Dean's List for the fall semester, which ended in December. They are: Keith Johnson of Largo, FL, a Software Engineering major. Rafael Acevedo of Largo, FL, a General Engineering major. Kathleen Orrico of Seminole, FL, a Civil Engineering major. In order to be included on the Dean's List, a student must complete 12 or more graded credits in a semester with a semester grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.4. Florida Institute of Technology, the only independent technological university in the Southeast, offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, and is listed among America's best colleges in U.S. News & World Report. It is located in Melbourne, on Florida's Space Coast, less than an hour from Kennedy Space Center.
