Come To Palm Harbor Library To Learn Chess

PALM HARBOR - Attention kings and queens, knights and bishops - do you think that all strategic moves and war games can only be found in video games? Then you don't know chess! Beginning Wednesday, February 17, the Palm Harbor Library will provide a six-week session of free chess lessons for students ages 8 to 14. Learn how to play the game - the basic moves and strategies, as well as proper chess etiquette, from Jim Martin - who runs weekly chess clubs at the library.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required, so call or stop by the Children's Room today (727-784-3332, Ext. 3018). The library is located at 2330 Nebraska Avenue, Palm Harbor.
