Beach Art Center Hosts The 2010 Faculty/Student ExhibitionThe Beach Art Center will be hosting the 2010 Faculty/Student Exhibition on February 19 - March 20. An Opening Reception will take place on Friday, February 19, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Hors d' Oeuvres and a donation bar will be available, and an Awards Ceremony will take place, in which ribbons will be presented to the best of exhibiting students. The reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public. As a teaching institution, the Beach Art Center has at its core its faculty members and students. The Center's next exhibition presents the opportunity to showcase the talents of both in the 2010 Beach Art Center Faculty/Student Exhibition. Those who are currently enrolled in a class at the Center, or have been in the past year, are eligible to enter. Works exhibited will be in a variety of media, including watercolor and watermedia, oil and acrylic painting, mixed media, ceramics and more. The Beach Art Center is a non-profit visual art center offering studio art classes, programs, events, and exhibitions to the public of mid Pinellas County and the beach communities.
