"Rainbow" (Lois Ericson), left, and "Bootsy Bootsy" (Carl McClellan) pose for a photo during Florida Clown Day at Largo Central Park last month. Ericson, who resides in St. Petersburg, and McClellan, who hails from The Villages, were among the some 100-150 clowns from all over the state who turned out for this year's event. Both employed the use of puppets while entertaining the children in attendance.
The above pictured clowns were caught on camera as they gathered for the start of the parade which would kick off Florida Clown Day at Largo Central Park last month. Clowns from all over the state entertained the public with magic tricks, face painting, puppets, balloon sculpting and comedy acts.
