Clearwater Historical Society Hosts Clearwater Bomber Day

Are you ready for some softball? Well, we are too! And while we can't bring you a real, live softball game, we can bring you some real, live legends who played the game…the Clearwater Bombers, for the 2nd Annual Clearwater Bomber Day, sponsored by the Clearwater Historical Society. This event will be held at the Historic Plumb House Museum, 1380 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Clearwater.

The Clearwater Historical Society has been in touch with all of the remaining Clearwater Bombers who played for the 10-Time World Champion Clearwater Bombers Fast-Pitch Softball Teams, and many will be present from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13th, to meet and greet their fans and swap stories of their experiences while playing in the Bomber's Glory days.

The public is invited to this very unique and free historical event, and don't forget your cameras to get pictures of these sports stars, many of whom are in the American Softball Association Hall of Fame.

Call Dean Robinson, Bomber Day Coordinator, at (727) 442-9011 for information or questions.
