IEYC Dines At New "551" Restaurant

Our Club was one of the first large groups to enjoy the ambiance and yummy food served at "551" located next to the Sand Key Bridge. Everyone was so curious to see the changes they made from the previous restaurant that we had an overflow crowd of 67 members and guest. Mother Nature really cooperated by giving us a lovely evening to enjoy Happy Hour on their new deck, which is ideal for sipping and enjoying the sunsets! One of the main features of their restaurant's decor is a lovely oversized abstract painting in the private dining room which gave us our Mardi Gras theme, along with flowers and beads on the tables. Kim Griffin, their Sales Manager, graciously donated two gift certificates to include in our door prizes. My heartfelt thanks to a superb committee consisting of Joyce and Tom Smith, Carolyn and Gary Bookout, and Rich Fortino for their endless enthusiasm towards making this event such a successful evening for all!
