Fox Hollow Military Muster Golf Event Scheduled

LUTZ - There will be birdies and bogeys galore as current and former military personnel trade their combat boots for golf shoes. On March 16th, the Fox Hollow Golf Club in Trinity will hold its 2nd annual Military Muster Golf Tournament to benefit Operation Homefront-Florida. Participants will include members of all branches of the Armed Forces as well as family, friends, volunteers, and supporters. The funds raised from this event will be used by Operation Homefront-Florida to support the troops and their families in their greatest times of need. "The reason we do this is because not only is freedom not free, but neither are the needs of our military men and women and their families. This is a fun way to show support for our troops and their families," said Army veteran and tournament coordinator Donny Alston.

Operation Homefront provides emergency assistance for our troops, the families they leave behind, and for wounded warriors when they return home. A national nonprofit, Operation Homefront leads more than 4,500 volunteers in 30 chapters nationwide, and has met more than 202,000 needs since 2002. Operation Homefront is a four-star rated charity by watchdog Charity Navigator. Nationally, 92 cents of every dollar donated to Operation Homefront goes to programs.
