
Clearwater Public Library Hosts Book Talking Video ContestCLEARWATER - The Clearwater Public Library System is hosting its first Sunshine State Book Talking Video Contest. Pinellas County students in grades 3 through 8 are encouraged to submit a creative video talking about their favorite Sunshine State book from the 2009-2010 school year. The top three winning videos in each category, elementary school and middle school, will be awarded prizes and posted on the library's website before the Battle of the Books Finals in May. First place will receive a $75 gift card, second place will receive a $50 gift card, and third place will receive a $25 gift card. There will only be one prize awarded per video entry. Entries can be dropped off or mailed in, as well as emailed to cplsyouth@gmail.com. Permission slips have to be dropped off or mailed in to any of the Clearwater public libraries.
