Former members of the legendary Clearwater Bombers men's fastpitch softball team pose for a photo at their second annual reunion at the Historic Plumb House Museum in Clearwater on March 13. The Bombers are renowned for their ten world championships. "Clearwater Bomber Day" was hosted by the Clearwater Historical Society.
Ex-Clearwater Bomber Bobby Curtis, now 82, at right, shows Clearwater City Council member John Doran signatures on a softball that he has had for 35 years at the second annual reunion of the Bombers on March 13. The ball holds a special place in Curtis' heart as it was presented to him following a game in 1975. It wasn't one autographed by other players but one that had been passed around the stands and signed by his many fans.
