Kelly Pedraza-Resendiz, in Kindergarten at Belleair Elementary, proudly displays her Certificate as Student of the Month at the Rotary Club of Clearwater. Two students were honored recently at the Rotary Club of Clearwater as Student of the Month. Kelly Pedraza-Resendiz, in Kindergarten at Belleair Elementary was cited by her teacher, Laura Center, as being the best student academically, is always kind and sweet, and if every student was like her, everyone would want to be a teacher. Kelley's father, Pablo Pedraza, attended the award presentation. Tyaisha Robinson, 5th grade student at Sandy Lane Elementary was also awarded Student of the Month. Her teacher, Christine Tsotsos, spoke of Tyaisha's leadership qualities, willingness to work hard, intelligence and her record of straight A's. Tyaisha's mother proudly watched, as both students received a medallion, framed certificate, and a gift certificate for a local bookstore.
