Hop-on-Over to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay's Easter CelebrationThe Humane Society of Tampa Bay will be hosting an Easter celebration on Saturday, April 3rd, from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. Photos with the Easter Bunny will be offered in exchange for a donation of a bag of cat or dog food made to Casper's Cupboard. In addition, for any animal adopted that day that has been at the shelter for 30 days or more, the adopter will receive a $25 Wal-Mart gift card to buy their new pet a toy! Since 2008, this program has given out over 350,000 pounds of free pet food and has helped keep more than 6,500 pets in their homes! The pet food pantry was recently re-named Casper's Cupboard in honor of the emaciated Boxer that was saved by Hillsborough County Animal Services and nursed back to health by the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is located at 3607 N. Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Donations can be dropped off 7 days a week during business hours.
